The lowest New Zealand car rental rates. We won’t be beaten on price! Here are our straight forward rental terms and conditions.
Obligation Free, No Deposit Required
Unlike other New Zealand car rentals companies, when you book with us there is absolutely NO deposit required to secure and hold your booking.
We guarantee that you will get the car you want. If for any reason at all, you are not satisfied with your booked vehicle upon arrival, you have absolutely no obligation to hire the car.
One Way Hires
Our Rental Rates do not apply on one way hires from our Auckland depots. We limit the number of vehicles on one way hires. You will need to check availability and rates for vehicles that are not returning to our Auckland depots.
$19 Rate
The $19 daily rate applies to 45+ day hires in the smallest car in our supersaver range undertaken between 1st April and 31st October. Rates are based on an Auckland return round trip.
Driver’s Licence
All drivers should hold a full driver’s licence and be over the age of 20. A current acceptable overseas, New Zealand or International licence is required from all intending drivers. At the Manager’s discretion, a holder of a licence for less than three years is acceptable but may incur a higher insurance excess.
Rental Duration
All hires are 24 hours duration. Late fees are charged at 1/2 of the daily rate up to four hours and a full day thereafter. Payment is made at the commencement of hire by either cash, credit card or NZ travellers cheques. Personal NZ cheques are accepted only if accompanied by a current credit card. After hours returns are by prior arrangement only, and will incur an airport parking /recovery fee. Please contact us if you wish to extend any hire, and we will do our upmost to oblige.
Insurance
An insurance excess applies to all vehicles hired. Payment of an optional collision damage waiver (CDW) reduces insurance excess to just $250 + GST.
Tax
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all daily car hire prices.
Breakdown Service
All our cars are covered 24 hours by AA Breakdown service.
Bond
A bond is required for all hires. You may be asked to sign a separate security bond in the form of a Credit Card imprint.
Early Returns
In the event that the hirer cancels or voids the agreement, or returns the vehicle earlier than stated in the rental contract, no refund applies. Vehicle hire charges are non-refundable and non transferable.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within five days of commencement of hire may incur a penalty fee of one day’s rental.
Child, Booster And Baby Seats
Child seats are now compulsory in New Zealand for every child under 5 years of age and may be hired from our branches. Please order at time of reservation stating age of child so the correct size may be booked.
